Ihemcho is the high energy, feel-good track dropping Friday February 10th, 2023. Combining Afrobeat, Hip Hop and Soul this is the second collaboration between Audio NFT Artist Dedeukwu and Producer C-Sol aka Peso Pesado.
Ihemcho will be the first release by Dedeukwu made available on traditional streaming platforms, as all his prior work has been released exclusively as Audio NFTs through Web3 channels. As an advocate for Audio NFTs and the decentralization movement, he believes that Web3 is the future. He describes it as a democracy, IP security and community relations all rolled into one exciting and emerging technology.
‘I just want to see the youth, especially those that may not have as many opportunities as others, I’d like to see them embrace this exciting new technology’ says Dedeukwu.
‘This is an opportunity for true financial freedom and the sooner they get familiar with crypto currency, the sooner they get involved, the more advantages they’ll be able to enjoy through these emerging blockchain networks.’
Dedeukwu plans to continue recording and releasing music independently, travelling throughout West Africa spreading his Web3 gospel while building and growing his media network. He looks forward to the day he is able to secure collaborations with some of his favorite Dancehall and Afrobeat artists such as Burna Boy, Shaggy, Omah Lay, Gospel On De Beatz , Shatta Wale, Damian Marley and others.
The track Ihemcho will be available as an Audio NFT which includes a lyric video and artwork. It will be limited to 10/10 on Rarible for $50.00 USD.
